Growing Healthy Food for 7 Generations!

Welcome to Allenholm Farm, a seven generation Vermont apple orchard on an island in Lake Champlain! Our farm began in 1870 when Reuben Allen and his son Horace moved to South Hero. We grow 25 acres of apples. In the summer we harvest raspberries, blueberries, and tart cherries, which can be found at our farm stand. Fall brings apple harvest and Pick-Your-Own apples. Come for a visit and meet our friendly farm animals, treat yourself to a Maple Creemee, and take home one of Papa Ray's mouth watering, homemade pies! We are open daily from late May until Dec 24th.

Open Daily 9 to 5 from Memorial Weekend until Dec 24th.
Closed Thanksgiving Day

OUR APPLES

In the fall we offer Pick-Your-Own, which is enjoyed by hundreds of families each year.
We also offer shipment to anywhere in the United States.*
*(Unfortunately we are no longer able to ship apples to California,
Washington state, or Arizona due to agricultural restrictions.).

FARM STORE

Adjacent to our Petting Paddock is the Farm Store.
Cheese Inside you will find a colorful array of Vermont products, such as Honey, Maple Syrup and Cheese. We sell our own Empire Applesauce and Dried Empires. We also offer Allenholm Crab Apple Jelly, made for us by our friends at My Kids' Kitchen in Grand Isle.

During the Summer you can enjoy homegrown delicious small fruits such as raspberries, blueberries, and sour cherries.
The Fall harvest brings in our apple crop, sweet cider and Pick Your Own apples. We offer tractor-driven wagon rides out to the orchard on weekends.
Maple Creemees have become a favorite treat at Allenholm. We take a vanilla soft-serve mix and add pure grade B maple syrup to it for an out-of-this-world flavor experience-cool,refreshing and addictive! Get your punch card and the 10th creemee is FREE!
Looking for a Vermont memory of your visit to the Islands? We feature art work from local artisans, and would love to help you put together a gift basket filled with Vermont products.

And don't forget one of Papa Ray's homemade, mouth-watering pies. Made only by hand with fruit grown on our farm, our pies will bring back memories of the ones Grandma used to bake. (Unless she was a terrible cook!)
